Locomobile MART-2 – technological-shunting the car of an economy class, designed to accommodate the special equipment of buksirovka rolling stock weighing up to 300T on the internal railway tracks of the enterprise and departmental Railways.

Locomobile MART-2 is a serial car chassis URAL (KAMAZ), and equipped with a seriously modified frame, motion system on rails with hydraulic equipment for towing cars (coupler, pneumatic equipment).

Drive axle locomobile equipped with a locking cross-axle differentials only at the request of the CUSTOMER; in the standard version, to limit the shock loads on the drivetrain resulting from the use of mechanical transmission, the portable engine is equipped with conventional differentials. To improve the adhesion of the driving wheels with the railway tracks with ballast.

This model of portable engine not designed for the transportation of rolling stock weighing over 300T, because of capacity and resource base powertrain of the car is not enough to repeatedly increasing (in comparison with the usual vehicle loads) loads during transport of the loaded cars.

Optimal weight of the composition for maneuver – 80T (1 loaded wagon), peak load up to 3 loaded cars.
